Nathaniel has trained for four years at postgraduate level in Herbal Medicine and is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (the largest organisation of professional herbalists in Britain). Nathaniel Hughes set up the Apothecary in 2005, having previously developed a practice from Stroud Natural Health Centre. He teaches widely and is involved in a number of projects with the aim of reintegrating our traditions of Herbal Medicine. He is available every weekday at the Apothecary. Alena trained in reflexology with Sam Bloomfield and the Maitri foundation, she offers treatments at the Apothecary on Fridays and some weekends. Miriam has ten years experience as a shiatsu practitioner and offers treatments on Saturday mornings from the Apothecary
